Chohee (초희) is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer and BJ under Purple Star Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group SATURDAY.
Career[]
2018-2019: Debut with SATURDAY and departure[]
On July 9, 2018, she was revealed as a member of SATURDAY[1] and on July 18, officially debuted with them and their debut digital single "MMook JJi BBa".
On August 22, 2019, SD Entertainment announced through the group's fancafe that they would be continuing on with five members, with Sion and her in discussion on their future activities with the agency.[2]
2021: New agency[]
In April 2021, it was announced that Chohee had signed an exclusive contract with Purple Star Entertainment to promote as a soloist.[3]
2022: U2U: Up to You[]
On November 20, 2022, Chohee appeared as a contestant on AfreecaTV's survival show U2U: Up to You where a hundred of broadcast jockeys (BJs) competed to debut in a five-member girl group.[4] A month later on December 21, the finale of UPTOYOU aired, in which Chohee was revealed to have been eliminated.
