Boom Boom Crunch! Hello, we are D-CRUNCH!

D-CRUNCH (디크런치; short for Diamond Crunch) was a nine-member boy group under Ai Grand Korea. Originally formed by All-S Company, they debuted on August 6, 2018 with the single album "0806".

On November 9, 2022, it was announced that the group had disbanded.

History[]

2018: Debut with "0806" and M1112 (4colors)[]

On June 5, 2018, All-S Company reveal an artist, Dylan, for his upcoming first group through a teaser photo.[3] The next days, other members were revealed and other series of teaser photos were published. Finally, on June 25, the agency revealed the group and its name.[4]

On July 6, 2018, it was announced that the group will pre-debut with the digital single "Geupsik" with the special sub-unit Geupsik-Dan featuring Chan Young, O.V, Jeong Seung and Dylan. The music video teaser was released the same day. The single will be released on July 10 and will feature also two girls trainees from the agency: Karam and Hyeong Shin.[5]

The full group debuted on August 6, 2018 with the single album "0806".[6]

On November 12, they then had their first comeback with the release of their mini album M1112 (4colors).

2019: M0527 and first Japanese release[]

On May 27, 2019, D-CRUNCH released their second mini album M0527.

On November 26, they released their first Japanese single "Are You Ready? (Japanese Version)".

2020: "Together Puppy Part.7", "Pierrot", and Hyunwoo's departure[]

On January 15, 2020, they released the digital single "Together Puppy Part.7". The Together Puppy music project works to increase the interest in abandoned and stray dogs through music.[7]

On May 22, D-CRUNCH released their second digital single "Pierrot".

On September 7, it was announced that Hyun Woo would be going on a hiatus because of his back pain. The group would then promote as eight until his return.[8]

On October 20, D-CRUNCH released their third mini album Across The Universe.

On December 28, Ai Grand Korea released a statement mentioning how Hyun Woo had left the group due to health reasons.[9]

2021: Daydream, Minhyuk's departure, and Dylan's hiatus[]

On April 6, 2021, they released their fourth mini album Daydream.

On November 9, D-CRUNCH announced that Min Hyuk would be leaving the group. On the same day, they also announced that Dylan would be going on a hiatus due to a deterioration of health and symptoms of mental anxiety.[10]

2022: "Addiction", Dylan's departure, and disbandment[]

On March 25, 2022, D-CRUNCH released their single album "Addiction".

On October 21, Ai Grand Korea announced that after careful discussion with Dylan and his parents, and per the medical staff's recommendation, Dylan will be leaving the group.[11]

On November 9, it was announced on their fan cafe that D-CRUNCH had disbanded with the members to explore various fields.[1]
