MATILDA (마틸다) was a four-member girl group under Box Media. They debuted on March 17, 2016 with the digital single "Macarena".

They reportedly disbanded on September 11, 2019 following the members' contract expiration with the agency.^[1]

2016: Debut with "Macarena", "Summer Again" and "You Bad! Don't Make Me Cry"[]

On March 17, 2016, MATILDA made their debut with the digital single "Macarena".

On July 6, 2016, the group released their second digital single "Summer Again".

On October 19, 2016, the group released their third digital single "You Bad! Don't Make Me Cry".

2017–2019: The Unit, "Between Fall and Winter" and disbandment[]

In 2017, all four members became contestants on the idol rebooting project show The Unit.

On November 19, 2018, MATILDA released their fourth and final single "Between Fall and Winter".

On September 6, 2019, Semmi and Dan-A announced their departures from the group after ending their contracts with Box Media.^[2] The following day, Saebyeol also announced through her Instagram that she concluded her contract with the agency as well.^[3] On September 11, 2019, multiple sources stated the group disbanded after the members' exclusive contracts, including Haena, had expired.^[1]
