Kim Boa (김보아; or simply BoA) is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She is one half of the duo KEEMBO and a former member of the girl group SPICA.
She made her solo debut on July 7, 2023, with the digital single "Write & Draw".
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
Before debuting as an idol, she was the vocal trainer for the boy group INFINITE. Also, she worked with the music production team Sweetune as a guide vocalist.[1]
2012–2017: SPICA[]
She debuted as a member of SPICA on January 9, 2012 with the group's first mini album Russian Roulette.
On February 6, 2017, B2M Entertainment announced the group's disbandment after five years.[2]
2020: Debut with KEEMBO[]
On February 10, 2020, she, alongside former fellow SPICA member Kim Bohyung, announced their return to promotions as a duo called KEEMBO.[3] The duo officially debuted on April 10 with the digital single "Thank You, Anyway".
