The Layout Guide intends to standardize how an article should look on Kpop Wiki. The information below outlines the relevant headings and sections that should be included when it comes to creating or editing an article.
Groups & people
The correct infobox must be placed at the beginning of the article.
- Infobox
- Lead section
- Introduction of the artist. Could include a brief summary on the artist, their Korean/Japanese names, explaining their name acronym, debut date.
- History/Career
- The artist's background (pre-debut to current). Should be sourced on where the info is founded!
- Members (current and past), their Korean names, and positions (if necessary)
- Sub-units (if necessary)
- Discography
- Albums are italicized. (eg. ABC)
- Singles/songs are quoted. (eg. "ABC")
- Sorted in this order (if applicable):
- Studio albums
- (Place repackaged albums with the corresponding release)
- Mini albums
- Live albums
- Remake albums
- Remix albums
- Special albums
- Mixtapes
- Singles albums
- Digital singles
- Special singles
- Promotional singles
- Collaborations and features
- OSTs
- Other releases
- (Non-single releases, eg. SoundCloud, free downloads)
- Studio albums
- Producing & writing credits
- Any songwriting, composing, producing work should be placed here.
- Should be sorted by year in descending order.
- Concerts
- Any solo concerts, concert tours
- Formatting example: TWICE 1st Tour: TWICELAND The Opening (2017)

- Filmography
- List of any appearances on variety, drama shows, films etc. Can be separated or combined.
- Formatting example: Produce 101 (Mnet, 2016–2017)

- Any awards/nominations given. Should be placed in a table.
- If too long, please create a separate article. Eg. List of awards and nominations received by BTS

- Miscellaneous trivia on the artist. Please limit to a few important and interesting points. Should be sourced on where the info is founded! If possible, add to the Career section as a paragraph.
- Gallery
- Collection of official photos like promotional album photos or SNS. Fan photos/screenshots not allowed. Limit of 25 photos. Anything over would have to be moved into a separate article (eg. Page Name: Example/Gallery).
- References
- Place the wikitext {{reflist|height=auto}} to list references used in article.
- Official links
- Official links to their website, fan cafe, SNS accounts (eg. Twitter, Instagram). No fan pages or fan blogs allowed.
- Navboxes
- Navigation boxes like this can be added to articles related to the subject for ease of info access. Within the navbox, topics should be ordered starting with:
- Members: Bolded are active, non-bolded are former
- Discography: Within the section, list in order from major to minor releases (Studio albums - Mini albums - Singles - Collaborations - OSTs)
- Related topics: Associations like their agency
- Official links: Links to their social media, YouTube channel etc.
- Navigation boxes like this can be added to articles related to the subject for ease of info access. Within the navbox, topics should be ordered starting with:
